Here are a list of specific roles that we are looking to fill for the 2011 show. All enquires should be made via our contact form.

  1. These are voluntary jobs as part of the scout & Guide movement. No wages will be received.
  2. These roles take a lot of commitment please consider you have the time before applying.
  3. Any applicants over 18 will be subject to CRB check.

Junior Musical Director

To run the musical side of the junior rehearsal with the Director. This involves playing the piano and teaching the songs to all children as well as soloist training. Reporting weekly to the Primary Musical Director on their progress with their rehearsals and giving band arrangements to the Musical Director for him to practice with the shows band. Meeting requirements are 6:30 till 8:00 Tuesday evenings September 2011 to February 2011 and occasional Sundays (roughly one a month) also ad-hoc meetings with the Primary MD on regular basis.

Skills Required:

  • Good sight-reading ability.
  • Grade 5+ Piano Ideal
  • Previous experience in MD role or Assistant MD preferable.

Musicians

Required: Sax, Clarinet, Flute, Trumpet, Guitar, Piano, Keyboards, Violin, Cello
Play an instrument and ever dreamed of being a pit musician in a show? Well here’s your chance. Required are musicians ideally with Grade 5+ on a variety of instruments but we are flexible. Contact us with your preferred contact details and your instrument and we'll arrange an audition. If successful In return you will get rehearsal dates Music, Script and experience as a pit musician.

Vocal Coach Senior Cast

To assist the Musical Director teaching the songs to the cast and warming them up prior to rehearsal. Also separate rehearsals with soloists in the show.
